Although Crestville is segregated, it has a small enough population that it doesn't need more then one school. Oakdale Academy, despite it's name, is the public school of Crestview. It serves all students, black and white, from kindergarten to twelfth grade.
Classes at Oakdale are separated by grade and skin color.
If you should want to continue your education past twelfth grade and attend college, you'll have to go to the nearest city, Joystown, which is about twenty miles away. Joystown has both a black and a white college, as well as a women's college that accepts both black and white students.
